Obviously my hope is that I get in (and find out in the next few weeks) and my FFR told me I have a great chance, but I'm just getting more anxious by the day. If I don't get in, I'm seriously considering reapplying.
Does anyone know of the best prep schools to apply to that get you prepared and look good on the resume? I applied to other colleges but I'm just wondering if this would be a better route if you're sure you want to reapply?

Any advice on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Definitely echo MemberLG's recommendations. Also, take courses similar to what you would take Plebe year (and excel in them!). In addition to ROTC universities, you could also look into service academy prep programs at schools such as NMMI, Marion, Valley Forge, etc. both ROTC programs at Universities and the SAP programs at these schools each have their own advantages and disadvantages for reapplying, so it is something to look into. No matter where you may go if you have to reapply, remember what your goal is. As a current prep student at MMI, there are plenty of buddies that spent a few too many nights partying instead of studying, and admissions doesn't look kindly upon poor grades. But hopefully, you won't have to worry about any of this in a few weeks. :thumb:

Ahhh...The Ole Debate...

Your ultimate goal is to be an Officer in the United States Army. Right?

There are many paths to follow to get to the top of the mountain, which shall you choose?

West Point - Graduate and be a front line officer
AROTC - Choose from hundreds of great schools - Graduate and be an officer
Four years of education - Complete OCS - become a front line officer

We can debate which path produces the best Officer. (Its the fire burning in their eyes) And they have all proven themselves.

You need to define your goals...do more soul searching, researching.

Northwestern Prep School is my choice

NWP is not a military school. Its a prep school that specializes in students who desire to gain acceptance into a SA. Even if you want to sharpen your skills for college this is, in my opinion, a great option. The first semester is at the school in Crestline, CA and the second semester you attend a two or four year school near your home. You take classes that are similar to first year of a SA.

One bummer thing about all the prep schools I believe, there are no transferable credits.

I think it would be a better idea, and you have got me thinking too. I hope you get in. :)
