I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with whether acne medications are permitted during BCT.

A memorandum sent from the cadet medicine clinic says that:

I think I remember hearing (but may be making up) that all non-critical medications will be taken. If that is true, I would presume that acne meds fall into the non-critical category.

Thoughts? Thanks! We should all be in Colorado Springs 14 days from now...

When they arrive, all medications, prescription or over the counter, will be taken. They will all be re-issued by the medical department. Just one more way to ensure that nothing illicit enters the academy.

I called the clinic and asked if my son could take his prescription acne medication Benza-Clin with him to inprocessing. They said as long as he had a prescription for it and he brought the prescription with him, it would be allowed.

BenzaClin is one of the medicines I use, so that's good to know! And to second what engineer2013 is asking, do they want a written prescription script or should the labeling be sufficient?
