Hi all,
I was recently looking through the Class of 2013 profile and came across the number of presidential qualified applicants that were accepted. It says that 73 sons and 24 daughters are in the class of 2013. Some of them may not have gotten a presidential appointment because they got a MOC nom. This may be a dumb question, but even if every single one of them got in on a presidential appointment (which is probably unlikely if they were competitive applicants), that 73+24 only adds up to 97. Now, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but that is 3 short of the 100 presidential appointments said to be given out. My questions is, are all 100 of those appointment from the presidential used up every year?
Thank you,
Brian
