LYNPAR,Hawaii is not as warm as alot of folks think, it got down to 65 degrees this morning! J/K
We try to take our girls off island at least once a year since we've moved here from the Bay Area. The Bay area do get cold and dreary also, but I'm sure not as cold and dreary as KP area. We were in KP back in June this year, the first three days were down in the 50s, then the rest were hot (110 degrees). Then it rained hard too with patches of flooding.
As for DD, we'll have to break out the parkas! She is excited to go.

I remember coming into Hono in December. It was down to 70 and the longshoremen had coats and jackets on. . . . .
