Hey to all the prior enlisted out there that are already in or are class of 2020 I was wondering what you did with all your stuff from your previous base. I have a bunch clothes and just general stuff that I don't really want to get rid of but I live across the country from where I am currently stationed and the Air Force will only send my things as far as the academy.

I was wondering what you guys did, I am looking at putting most of it in storage til I can get all of it in my dorm room.

I just downsized and got rid of most of my stuff. It's humbling to see your whole life fit into 2 duffels and a garment bag haha

Ask the Outbound household goods people if you rate temporary or long-term storage at West Point. You may have to look into a storage unit off-post (don't know if anything is set up for single soldier storage on post), but your income will definitely be much reduced, and access will be a challenge while you are a plebe.
