At the Academy do they test the regular AF fitness test (push-ups, sit-ups and 1.5 mile run) or do they still include the pull-ups?

There are two tests, the PFT, which is situps, push-ups, standing long jump, pullups, and 600 yard run, and there is the AFT which is a 1.5 mile run. I think it gives further details in the appointee kit

is the Academy ever going to move to match the PT test to the Air Force's PT test or is that pretty much a pipe dream?

There's been nothing from above about changing the PFT/AFT. Seniors take the AF PT test 2nd semester, but that's as close as I think we'll get.

A pipe dream. ;) Our PFT/AFT are so much harder than the normal AF ones that moest will score over 90% on the AF PT test during firstie year.
