17?!
Wow! What a huge committee! Both MOC's had committees of 4. The MOC was not present. The senator did SA specific interviews. If you were WP, you interviewed w/ 2 Army guys, and two civilians. You could not ask for two SAs. Interview was 20 min. The congressman blocked interviews: all USMA, then USAFA, etc...His interviews were 10 min. He traditionally sees all kids in his district. Usually has 20ish. This year he had 44!! Usually he slates everyone as many as he can, this year kids had to pick one. Some won't get any slate. Between the spiffy new suit and the LOA, am hoping my son makes the cut for at least one! He practiced a good while, so he was interviewing well. He's also had to interview for jobs, so he's not totally new to it.
Your MOC does callbacks for final interview? I am assuming your district is highly competitive? Best of luck to him...and for your nerves as you wait this out with him!
