Hello, I was wondering if I have a chance and what I could do to get myself a chance at getting accepted into the Air Force academy. Back in high school I was kind of a crappy kid who really didn't do anything, I slacked off and just got by, so I ended with like a 2.9 gpa (Really really low). I was a representative in student council, and did participate in Cross Country, Track, Basketball, and golf if that helps. Afterwords wanting to actually do something with my life, I decided to enlist into the Air Force, and currently work Avionics on the F-22. Looking at the Air Force academy it seems like a great opportunity to improve on myself and really do something bigger myself, and give myself something meaningful in life to really put myself into and work on. I was wondering if I still had a chance at being accepted being such a slacker before, and what I would need to do in order to get accepted (such as programs I would need to join and volunteer opportunities that would make my package look better). Any feedback would be much appreciated, thank you.
