I was searching the internet last night and happened to stumble across how to "ranger roll" a whole uniform (including ACU tops/bottoms, shirt, socks, and everything else that goes under it). I thought it might be helpful for those of you who are always looking for more compact ways. (Ignore the sound on the first part of the video, they take a moment to get going). Either way, just a new way to pack your stuff! Any thoughts on this?

My only concern is that if you only need to swap one thing (especially the pants), you have to undo the entire thing, and now you have a pile of clothes, wheras if you pack everything individually, you can pull individual items as needed with much less disruption to your entire pack.

I can see that happening, I thought it may be a good way to pack a majority of your ACU's when you have a full load. Has anyone else seen other ways of packing ACU's compactly? I've yet to see anyone do it this way.

For training events like Beast and Buckner that require you to carry more clothing than you'll actually need, I just throw my extra acu's in a dry bag (you can buy smaller sized bags at sports authority). For stuff like socks that you'll swap out more often, I use a Ziploc bag.
