Hello I am trying to go back to The Citadel. I was at The Citadel in 2021 and 2022 unfortunately I had trouble with the room inspection part and had to leave both times.

I did Seacadets since I was 14 years old to when I was 18 and achieved the rank of Po2. I also went to Jrotc CLC at The Citadel.
The Citadel means a lot to me and I will do what ever it takes to make it through there. I am wondering how should I go about reapplying? I am seeking all the help I can get.
Thank you

I have no clue about the citadel etc.

But if meant so much to you, how and why didn’t you figure out the room inspection?

Edit: you only need to post once.

Now I understand. I thought the highlighted banner mentioned ment It closed the forum my misunderstanding.

So to answer your question - now that all the admin stuff has been straightened out - if you are serious about being readmitted to the college, the website provides very clear instructions and contact information. See: https://www.citadel.edu/registrar/readmission/
And specifically as to academic or conduct related discharge:

Step 6. Applicants returning from an honorable discharge or voluntary separation are not required to have a personal interview. If you are returning from an academic, conduct-related, or voluntary medical discharge, please see below. If not, skip to step 7.

a. If returning from an academic discharge, the applicant will need to complete an interview with the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs.
or
b. If returning from a conduct related discharge, the applicant will need to complete an interview with the Assistant Commandant for Discipline.

Yes sir I was told since I didn't make it past hell week to reapply through admissions.

What would be the best people to get references from?
Talk to the Admissions Office counselor who has responsibility for your state or region - you are not the first person to apply to return to the SCCC.

My 2 cents - you have a glamourous vision in your head about being a cadet and being at The Citadel. You have gone down the path 2 times and pulled the rip cord on both occasions, in less than a week. Room inspections are the easiest part of being at an SMC. There is nothing glamourous about being at The Citadel. You have to WANT to be there and not be in love with the idea of being there.

Not trying to be harsh - but nothing has changed since the last 2 times you were there. The rooms are still exactly the same and the expectations are exactly the same. There is a reason its called "the road less traveled"

Best of luck to you!

@glen is the best Citadel resource on this site if you are actually serious this time

Yes sir to elaborate the first time I was forced to leave was when I said I would rather jump of a bridge then get a honor violation. I was then token to the counseling center and medically discharged.

Just speculating here but it sounds like there was much more going on...in fact you sound a lot like a kid that went to the Citadel and got kicked out for undisclosed autism then went to Norwich this fall and got kicked out for the same reason. You cite a single statement that got you booted but just like the Cadet at Norwich it was a constant stream of outbursts and conduct issues not compatible with military service. If this sounds like you...consider traditional college.

That wasn't me at all. Before I even got to the Citadel I disclosed all of my disabilities on my medical forms as well as to the commandments department and the disability coordinator at the citadel. My tacs at the citadel were aware of my disability's

But I actually am dead serious about reapplying. I have been getting mixed answer I guess my first question is do I reapply through admissions or the register? To add more background in 2021 right before I mattruclated I had sinus surgery and my tonsils removed and my uvula removed and my tirbinites and alliinoids trimmed as well. I didn't heal fully from it up until now I have been having problems with scar tissue ever since. I feel like that may have hindered me at The Citadel.
