Re: War of Northern Aggression...first visit to the USMA library was impressed to see an entire wall of field notes from various leaders during the civil war....however, the binding was labeled "Chronicles of the Rebellion." I asked my son what they were teaching him at that yankee school!
 
Aaahh, on a note of historical correctness folks, it was the "Great Southern Insurrection. Please to update your 1860 text books!:biggrin:
 
Well, I'm only chiming in to honor my GGG-Grandfather. I was only in for 4 years (Johnson, Nixon) and my E-9 Dad had Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson. My Grandfather served during Wilson, but HIS grandfather was a Warrior during the time of U.S. Grant -- but fought Custer! But then, he was Lakota! :yllol:

They keep saying how "the south will rise again".

Besides...one of em stole my "You lost, get over it" bumper sticker with the confederate flag next to it with an X. :shake: I want my $10 back!!!
 
rumor in my family is that my GGG-uncle or something like that had his knee shot off at gettysburg. he was a yank.
