DS had orthodontic treatment several years ago. He currently wears a removable wired retainer at night and has a fixed wire retainer behind his bottom teeth (no brackets). He has not seen an orthodontist in several years as the treatment was completed. Are these types of retainers allowed at USNA or will they need to be removed before I-day like active orthodontic treatments?

I have a similar question. DS wears clear removable retainers at night. I was thinking about getting him Hawley retainers as they are more durable.
Is this something that needs to be cleared for use at USNA?

Answered. You can show the standard to the Orthodontist:wiggle:
