Replying to this thread everyday until an appointment/rejection

How is it possible for time to seem like it is going by so fast and so slow at the same time?! DS still Pending and DQ with USNA. The wait has actually been positive because it has given him time to really evaluate the career he wants and what branch would be better. If he got an immediate TD from USNA, he might just feel disappointed and that USMA was just a Plan B, but knowing that USNA is still a possibility has allowed him to consider whether Army should be Plan A given his interests beyond the academies. Just a reminder that God works everything for good to those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. Feeling at peace about it all. Hoping for best outcome for everyone soon (whether it seems like it at the moment or not).
 
I've lost track of what day it was a few weeks ago. Now I'm counting down the days til APril 15th. From what I've read, seen, that's the target date. Keep the hope in your heart. 9 days, plus an eclipse, left til the 15th. Good luck Hopefuls!

He did and he’s getting excited. He is applying for his TWIC now. I’d have him do that because it can take 60 days and it would be good to have even if he goes to USNA.
His third choice is Webb and he liked that too. I think he’s picking these over ROTC

I with ya! I read the forums last year when we were going through this the first time. Wow, did I learn a lot, it lead us to where we are today. DS's Mom said, "Just go ahead and become a member...." I promised myself I wouldn't until I could possible help others with something to say. Then I found this thread. This was the catalyst to making sure I get on here first thing in the morning. It helps keep everyone engaged. Y'all have been fun. Maybe Feb 1 of 2024, it'll be day 366 of the long march. I've already decided I'm hanging around. LOL
