Just finishing the laundry tonight and of course stumble upon the USNA pjs DS bought at CVW. Ha! They will be an awesome keepsake from this journey!

We had a great night talking about all the highs and lows of this SA journey and he hugged me and thanked me for all of my help 🥰 (which I pray was captured on my ring cam because … um, how often does that happen?? If so, that will be MY keepsake!) We watched the 2022 USMMA valedictorian speech that those who’ve come before us have posted and absolutely loved it!

DS is so happy to know where he is going - Now to get some USMMA merch! Good night all and good luck to those still waiting! ❤️

And to the friends I’ve made along the way who plan (or who’s DS/DD plan) to be USMC officers - I hope our paths cross again after commissioning!! (@blinkus and @ARMARINE03 - Semper Fi!).

And Navygirl06 - praying extra hard that the waiver pending sign replaces that BRDQ! You got this!!
thank you so much! I also plan to go green side when I'm finally in med corps, so I hope I will see you all there!

Mine turned down USMMA, emailed TAMU monday to turn down scholarship and is also pending USNA. She has accepted a USAFAP spot and waiting to see what USNA will do. :) Fun times in Texas.
Oh wow! Mine accepted TAMU (didn't get the AFROTC scholarship), but is holding on the USMMA admit till USNA decision is rendered. He will choose USNA or USNA Prep School over the other two. He got a turn down from USAFA, which was disappointing. But USNA is his first choice. Keeping fingers crossed. Would be interested to know why she turned down USMMA and scholarship to TAMU?

She got the USAFAP offer and picked that over the other two. Full ride to A&M too between NROTC and the Patriot scholarship...scary to walk away from that but she felt that she'd regret not going to an SA. I think prep and AF are a huge blessing, so I'll be curious to see how it all pans out if she gets something from USNA. She hadn't visited USMMA and was concerned with the academic rigor based on some of the info she read here.
