    Hi Everyone-

I took my DoDMERB physical today after receiving an envelope in the mail a while back. I believe it was sent to me from ROTC sources, not USAFA, where I ultimately want to go. Will the physical be used for both the Academy AND ROTC programs once it is processed? Thank you very much,

    Derek

Larry Mullen (Mr. DoDMERB) will be here shortly to confirm or correct but I believe that once you are in the DoDMERB system, all the Service Academies and all branches of ROTC can track your medical status. In other words, only one trip through DoDMERB is needed. No special action on your part required. At least that's the way it worked last year with my son.

BTW, DoDMERB is a shining example of efficiency in this process.

Also, check your status on dodmets, it will let you know when everything was received from the doctors and forwarded on to DoDMERB. Then create an account on the DoDMERB site, https://dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil/, and you can track your status with DoDMERB. This will also show you who requested the DoDMERB..academies, rotc. Right now my son's account shows the academies, but ROTC hasn't uploaded his name yet. It will reflect that soon.

    Contact Mr. Mullen...that's #1

In the dodmets account, when you check your application status, it says something like: ALL BASIC MEDICAL DOCUMENTS ARE
    COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED TO DODMERB.
For further information about your application status CLICK HERE.

Click on the "Click Here" and that takes you to DoDMERB.
You might get a funky warning page that looks like you can't access it....it's actually a warning telling you they have an expired certificate, click that you want to continue to the site.

Then you need to accept their disclaimer..THEN you should be there.
