I ran across the abovementioned article while Googling for possible ROTC cutbacks of existing programs. Pima has frequently pointed out that many AFROTC cadets have their scholarships yanked midway through. I was wondering whether there is any prospect for an equivalent cutback -individually or on a schoolwide basis - in the Army ROTC. It seems the Harvard Crimson scooped the rest of the country in getting this story. A link is below. www.thecrimson.com/article/1963/1/8/rotc-might-cut-program-to-two/ Before panicking, however, it is worth noting that the article is dated January 1963. At that time we had fewer than 10,000 troops in Vietnam and were not involved in ground combat.
