ROTC Scholarship Transfer Question

Hello,

I was awarded a 4-year Army ROTC scholarship. I accepted the scholarship to a reach school and requested to have it transferred to the University of Florida. I sent in my request by mail, to the ROTC headquarters from which I received my scholarship offer, and by email to train2lead@usacc.army.mil. I never received any sort of indicator that they had received my request. Is there anything I can do to check that?

My DD also requested transfer. She did not receive an acknowledgment, but did receive an email from the school she accepted asking about the transfer.

When DS had a similar experience last year, he was advised to contact the unit to which he asked that the scholarship be transferred so that they could look out for it. It turned out that there was a waiting list for his unit, but the point of contact said that she thought he would come off the list. He did.

That is not the email address the scholarship processors use anymore. Look at your offer letter and try the email address that is on it.

I would also recommend scanning and uploading your request to your application website along with the acceptance letter to the school you want to attend.
