The link was posted on the USNA forum this morning, and worked then; now it doesn't. Must have had too many hits. It's the Commandant's manual with regulations detailing walking privileges, riding in cars, etc.

I don't know if there is an online version to it but once you are here you will be able to access the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) vie an internal website or hard copy which outlines the rules. It is 404 pages long.

Why? He is trying to find the rules for USMA. The link is only to show the type of document he is looking for.

It's probably forbidden for us since we are interested in USMA. :shake:

    For your reading pleasure:
    http://www.usna.edu/Commandant/Instructions/COMDTMIDNINST 5400 6L.pdf

or the "shorter hidden version" as Link

The reason why the original link did not work was that the text was copied from the post rather than the original URL. This occured with a different post in the past several days.

When the forum sees a long link, it "shortens it for the viewable text, but if you hover over the link, it should display in the status bar on the bottom of your browser window, or you can right-click in some browsers to show the properties of the complete URL.

    Enjoy!
