SAT/ACT question

Hello,

I am currently a high school junior aspiring to be a part of the long grey line USMA class of 15. I took the PSAT last year, and scored in the 85th percentile, but I plan on doing a lot better on my SAT. My question is when during this year should I look to take the SAT/ACT? I am going to shoot for my congressional nominations come spring, so my dilemma is that if I take my SAT in the Spring, will the scores not be released by the time I sent in my application for nomination?

I am a tad confused on this. Please let me know. Thanks!
 
My advice would be to take the SAT/ACT every time they are available until you earn scores you are completely satisfied with, and make sure you prepare for the tests in order to perform your best. Take the tests ASAP and continue to take them.
 
Alright, thank you. I have a community service project on the upcoming October date, but I will be sure to start in december. :)
