I plan to take the SAT in November, but I plan on finishing my application sometime soon. If I finish my application before I receive my SAT scores in November, will I still be able to report the new SAT scores to the admissions team and have it updated to my application?

Yes. You can submit up through January or February test scores. Have you taken the SAT or ACT at least once?

Yes, I have taken the SAT twice and the ACT once. I plan on taking each test again.

A good plan is to finish your application early (less your 7th semester transcripts), send test scores as they update, and then update admissions in January with all of your fall semester accomplishments. They'll take updates until the file completion deadline, but you don't want to overdo the updates sending every little minor thing throughout the fall

Remember that test scores from November may work for admissions, but are probably too late for use with your nomination packets. Most, but not all MOC's want a single packet submitted and are not interested in updating information with new awards or test scores. Have you considered a September test that would work for both submissions?

Sorry, I made a typo. I meant to say October and not November. I plan to take the ACT later this month.
