Corvias Group is the PMH (privatized military housing contractor) for several military bases. They offer scholarships to children of active duty members stationed at the bases they support.

Might be of interest to non-SA attendees, for those who fit the bill.

Another one for military dependents to look into is the OCSC/ECSC (Officer/Enlisted Civilian Spouse Club )merit scholarships at their local bases. You do not have to be a member of either club. The scholarships are not big bucks and a one time deal. Usually they can run from 500 to 1500.

However, what is great about their scholarships is it can be applied to either tuition or room and board or both. It goes straight to the bursar, if the student has a surplus, than some schools will cut back a check, thus, they can use it for books too.

Many HSs don't really talk about it, but usually they open up the applications in Feb or early March.
