With my two senator noms still pending......can I call them and let them know that I would like to switch my service academy selection from X academy to X academy......or is the die already cast and it is too late?

Not sure, but I always say ... it never hurts to ask. If you're serious about switching your top choice selection, then I'd say call them sooner rather than later. NJ Senators are reviewing apps from the review board recommendation list now, so don't sit on it too long.

    VA MOC

I believe the advice has always been to notify ASAP - once they make nominations I would think it is much more difficult to change - unless you live in a state that doesnot have much interest.
Before my son returned to college, he emailed and got a reply from our congressman - email said that decision and letters would go out on Jan 19th from his office.
MOC's a supposed to have their lists to academies by Jan 31 each year.
