Hello, this is my first time posting. I apolgize in advance if I end up uploading something wrong.

If someone is fully accepted into the CGAS program, will their senior year transcript get checked before they gradaute?
Also, is it possible to lose a CGAS appointment if someone has one or two bad grades. (Not a failing grade but a grade in the 70s)
Please let me know thank you.

Possible, yes. Probable, no. At least for Academy folk they didn’t request proof of grades before swab summer. I know a guy who failed half his classes his last semester of high school and the Academy was none the wiser. Maybe for CGAS they pay more attention since there is more time between indoc and high school graduation.

But also remember that you have to reapply from CGAS to the academy, and plenty of CGAS kids get denied from the academy. They certainly look at your high school transcript when you reapply.

And of course if you can’t pass high school classes the academy will crush you like an ant, so it’s in your best interest to learn how to learn if you want to commission.

I think it could be possible to have your appointment revoked if you fail a class, my AO told me that the only reason it would be taken away is if you get into some kind of trouble or have abysmal, failing grades (and I don't think a C would constitute as failing). Admissions likes to see that you're still working hard in school. I turned in a couple of quarter grades and my first semester grade to admissions, I don't think it's required but they just like to see that you're dedicated.
