I've wanted to go to the Naval Academy since my freshman year. Fortunately because of that, I have been able to navigate high school taking classes that the Academy looks for as best I can. I was looking for some guidance on my senior year classes since my guidance counselors and teachers know virtually nothing about the Academies. (When I told my guidance counselor that USNA was where I wanted to go, she stared at me blankly and said: "what is that?") I also wanted to know if my course load in total seemed strong enough on my transcript.

Please note freshman at my school are limited to 4 core classes and no AP courses. Here are the courses I've taken and the grades I've received in them by year (Also, North Carolina math is weird and integrates their curriculum. For example, we don't have Algebra 1, Geometry 1, etc, we have Math 1, Math 2, Math 3 that covers all of these subjects)
Freshman year:
Honors English I- A
Honors Earth Science- A
Honors World History- A
Honors Math 2- B
Health and PE- A
Health Team Relations- A
Principles of Business and Finance- A
Honors Microsoft Word and PPT- A

Sophomore Year:
Honors Civics and Economics- A
Honors Biology- A
Honors Math 3- A
Honors English II- A
AP Computer Science- A
AP US Government and Politics- A
Honors Physics- A
Honors Multimedia and Webpage Design- A

Junior Year:
AP English Language- A
AP Seminar- A
AP US History- A
AP Computer Science A- A
Honors Pre-Calculus- A
Honors Chemistry- A
Honors Anatomy- A
SPA111 (duel credit enrollment, Elementary Spanish I at community college)- A
Latin 1- A

For my senior year, I want to take:
AP English Literature
AP Research
AP Calculus AB
Honors Turning Points in American History
SPA112 (Elementary Spanish II)
And probably Chem111 through my community college since my school does not have any AP science courses other than APES. Does anybody have any recommendations for other courses?

Looks good. However, something you should consider is to take Latin II. I am not sure if USNA Admissions wants to see two years of the same language, but I know many Elite Colleges are looking for 2+ years of the same language. This may be something to email your admissions counselor/ask on the Admissions Chat about.

If your school offers an Independent Study program (ask your guidance counselor), you can do an Independent Study in a challenging course (AP Chemistry, AP Statistics, or Linear Algebra/etc. )

Check out the Live Chat widget on the USNA Admissions site. They usually have daily sessions, maybe not weekends. Perfect question to bring up to an actual Admissions counselor.

Be sure you have reviewed the applicable sections of the Admissions web pages, so you don’t ask questions when answers are readily available.

OP is probably good though becasue the Spanish is college dual enrollment for 2 years.

AP Calc, AP Chem (or your local community college equivalent), and AP English are the big ones, take those if you can.

I suggest you take Chem or Physics as a senior. I realize you've taken both, but having those courses fresh(er) in your brain will be helpful. If you've exhausted the courses at your h.s., agree that a community college course is an option.
