Shirt Stays

Hi everyone! This is quite a novice question, but as part of NROTC, I am required to buy shirt stays. Does anyone know which are the best/worst and any advice for getting them?
 
I like the stirrup ones -- they are less irritating and annoying.
 
The ones that go around your foot vice attaching to your socks are more comfortable. Personal preference though. A quick Google search and there are tons of websites including Amazon that have them. Usually come in either black or white. I think we had both colors. Wore black in our school uniforms as they can't be seen with black socks and white ones for summer whites. I am sure your upperclassman will help you out and give you all the required gouge needed once you get to your unit.

My advice.... Sitting on your shirt stays is less embarrassing than pooping on your cover.

Trust me and learn from my mistakes!
 
Stirrup ones are definitely the way to go. Worth the extra money. Much easier to slip on and more comfortable to wear.

You'll need a black set for khakis and a white set for whites. The material for summer whites is translucent enough that anything not white underneath will be noticeable.
