I was DQ for sleepwalking, but was accepted to the Naval Academy Preparatory School. The Naval Academy put in a request for a waiver. I also applied to the Merchant Marine Academy and they also put in a request for a waiver. I have never been diagnosed for sleepwalking and it has only happened twice after the age of 13. How does the waiver process work, when will i here back, and what are my chances of getting the waiver?

I'm curious - what's the difference between sleep walking at age 12 and at age 13? Why is that the cutoff?
 
In order to apply standards, there has to be a line. The epidemiologists and specialists in this area have drawn the line there for application of this standard. This is based on the literature and evidensed based information. This does NOT include the possibilities for waiver. :thumb:
