What is the difference between SLS Offered and SLS Accepted? My candidate profile states, " SLS OFFERED, Jan. 12,2012," under status and date. For some, there is no section for SLS period and I can only assume that their applications haven't been processed yet. For others it says, "SLS Accepted." There are forms to fill out on the left side. One is for accepted and the other is for offered. Can anyone please enlighten me on this?

I'm not certain on the SLS part of it but for the actual application for West Point, if you've been offered an appointment, it shows up on the liaison's portal as "offered". Once you accept that appointment, it changes to accepted. I'd guess for SLS that offered means you've been offered SLS and need to fill out those forms to accept that you're going. Once you accept the offer, I'm guessing you'll need to do the additional forms.
