I am not involved in any school sports however I am a first degree black belt in Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts. I'm working toward a second degree black belt and have won multiple medals at worldwide tournaments.

Is this good for USNA or are they looking for varsity letters.

Yes this is good. The Naval Academy likes to see that you have done well in a sport that you are passionate about and I'm assuming you are passionate about your sport since you compete on a world level.

The answer to your questions is the same: yes. CGO is looking for candidates who excel in any sport. They also like to see athletes excel in varsity sports and earn letters.

It is not the venue that matters as much as the you demonstrating your excellence, tenacity, dedication and leadership in a sport that requires these attributes to be successful.
