SC congressional nomination received to today for my DS!! USMA

TN nominations began. My DS received a Christmas Eve nomination call from our congressional office. Best Christmas present ever

DS just received a nomination from Jones. No email or phone call. It just showed up in his portal. Same with his USNA nom. No ticker-tape parade or any fun notification just there one day. LOL! It could be because we are in Germany and the holidays.

My DS never got an email. He looked at his portal this morning and the nomination was there for USMA from Jones.

BTW, admissions at USNA at least is working hard...and on a SUNDAY! DS’s 2nd nomination just popped up in his portal this morning. I’m impressed. They are dedicated.

So don’t assume nothing will happen over a weekend!

It mighr be a acctual letter too. I know Burrs office said " Im sending them out right now as we speak". Let us know if anyone gets a update

I received an email two days ago giving me a date and location for an interview with Burr, but am out of town, so I will not know if a letter came through until the 11th.

You were correct. My son just received a nomination USPS letter from Sen. Pat Toomey of PA. Still no word from our Congressman, however.

All noms must be out by Jan 31st. I've only heard "sometime in January" from Gardner and Bennet.

congrats for the Toomey nom! I have been to the Gap when DS went through this and know how fierce the competition is in PA!

Our DS is in same boat, senator principal for USNA in AZ, 3q for USMA and waiting for USNA. He doesn't want to get too excited until an appointment arrives. Congrats and fingers crossed for you.
