Still in the game

I check this thread every day now... I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of your DS and DD!!

No mail again today in Florida. One more day in the mail week, Keeping my fingers crossed.:thumb:

NAHOPEFULL, I love that you are the first one of the day. This has become such a routine -how we all chime in like roll call! You are like my morning coffee -- the doesnt really start until Florida checks in!

usna2018123 - I saw on another post that your DS received the NROTC Scholarship to Texas A&M. If our boys end up with plan B they will see each other in the Corps. I hope they see each other on I-day instead! :thumb:

Freshmen DD is interested in USCGA.....she got a BFE in the mail today with marketing info. She will be thrilled but not the BFE I was hoping for......

SMMTX, your son and my son have similar stats and similar plan Bs(though it waivers close to a plan A after he visited A&M Corps overnight). At this point, I just want to plan accordingly. Another week passes with no mail from USNA.

No mail in Massachusetts again. Feeling quite frustrated at this point. DS just wants an answer - hopefully the right one!

So after following this thread daily....when I came home I checked the mailbox, every nook and cranny on the porch, the lawn (just in case the strong winds blew it) and no BFE. I wonder if I should check the neighbors? :)

Looks like the spice is starting to flow over on the AFA thread. Perhaps y'all will be so fortunate next week, if not tomorrow.

It could be at the neighbor !! My sons usna appointment was thrown on the driveway , his coast guard academy appointment was sent 2 blocks away at a house with the same # as ours but different street name ( postman mistake, correct address on BFE)..... I might need a new mailman :yllol:

Nothing in NH today either . My son's application has been complete since August. There have been two Marine Corps mantra's running through our house since "Hurry up and wait " and " No news is good news ".

new to this forum. still waiting in NH. DS got in to top choice Notre Dame and awarded NROTC but always in the Navy sweatshirt. We are an ND family, I think he is afraid to say anything about Navy for fear of not getting the BFE. Not saying a word, just stalking the mail and the forums. This whole process has been rewarding, our son has matured exponentially through the process..I guess all will be decided in a few weeks.

Nothing in CT....
