Still in the game

There has been no appointment in my congressional district. :( So, the wait goes on. Two weeks at this point might as well be another two months for as slow time seems to feel.

I am so happy that it is still quiet for all of you. I have to believe this is a very good sign! Hang tough..you are in the home stretch. I feel good things coming your way....
 
Nothing here in So CA, either. Had a false alarm earlier when I heard a knock at the front door around our mail delivery time. Thought maybe it was a BFE being delivered by the postman, but alas it was a family friend asking to use our printer. DS's BFE from USMA was delivered to the door by the postman 3 years ago. I guess it is my imagination's April Fool's joke on me!
 
Got home from school in time to see the mail man walk by, BFE in hand... It was for my dad. We continue to wait...

I have been worried Bob will do something tricksy today for our TN friends...
 
Ha! Agree about Bob, he has got to have something up his sleeve today!! Tennessee Dad, be ready for him!!!!
 
I did a sneak attack from the side bushes! Bob was good today. No tricks. He did look for it this morning when he got his mail sort. DS continues to wait.

DS is patient, but is certainly ready to find out. Being asked by "The Girl" at another school to her prom has him a little distracted. Thats a good thing.

He's outside on the back porch doing some light reading. Systematic Theology. He found one of my Master's Degree class books. What is up with these children? At his age I was popping wheelies on my bike!

He's related like that to mine! Tennis practice, debate practice, mow the yard, read dense material for fun.

I was ready to give Bob a hillbilly beat down if he played a trick on you!

I thought maybe he went to a Catholic school. My DS has had religion classes for 12 years!

Public school K-12 in a very "private school" sort of town. One of ours goes to Catholic School. He leads some of the music at church. craves a deeper knowledge.

I'm originally from Arkansas. Lived in Tn 3 decades. We could pull some Redneck, hillbilly action on Bob, but we like sparring with him too much to take him out.
Its official, Bob stays on the island today!
 
I wonder if Bob has any idea the entertainment he gives those of us still on the island. :) Thanks for sharing him with us skip!
