hey Currey! I agree with Prepswimmom, it is Holy Week! Something has to happen for sure. But seriously, I cannot believe this. As if it all isn't painful enough. I am pulling for you here in California!

I am stalking the forum waiting to hear good news ... but at least I got to enjoy the "red wig" story while waiting.

Well so far this morning I called the admissions office, tried the main line this time. Confirmed his email and said we should hear back in a few days...

Seriously, the only reason I can imagine why they have no info for you is that they are waiting for a spot to open up?

I mean, if it were worst case scenario, wouldn't they know that by now? Surely they have reviewed all the files.

Hoping for the best for your family!! I cannot even imagine still knowing nothing at this point.

I think this is possible. I would not push too hard or you might get a WL just to give an answer. Hope he gets a BFE soon.

Wow! In a "few days"? Couldn't they at least say "we want him just waiting to see where we can place him? I would hope at this point they are not planning on sending the TWE - there would be no excuse for that!
 
It will be what it is meant to be and I will get that answers that are given.

What I can do is know that my DS has done everything he possibly could leaving nothing on the table, floor or behind the couch for that matter! With this we can hold fast until there is a determination that the Academy is willing to share.

For now we will prepare for the special needs easter egg hunt today, physics project delivery for the open house tonight, phase 2 of classes for the day, practice shoved in there and oh yeah, that thing I do that pays bills:cool:

Currey, I keep thinking that surely you would know something by now.....sigh. Enjoy your Easter weekend. I do hope the Easter Bunny brings your BFE......they aren't nearly as messy as carrier pigeons. ;)
 
Just read this entire thread, all 202 pages, holy cow. All I can say is, I feel your pain. I'm still waiting for my AROTC letter.

Got an email today that I have earned an appointment to NAPS and am still on the Wait List for direct entry!!! When is I-Day for NAPS?
