I came to the Forums in the closing months of 2022 when DS was going through this process the first time. I find this group inspiring. There's a lot of crazy going on in the world and as the saying goes, "bad news makes it's way round the world before good news gets it's shoes on.".

These pages are filled with very smart, terrific youngsters motivated to serve. On the flip side, I see a lot of GREAT parents that got them here and where they hope to be. Anxiety is running thick in the waiting rooms, but from this military family, a BIG thank you for the hard work you put into your kids. It's awesome and inspirational.

I agree. The level of discourse here is far superior to what you generally find on online forums. And the fact that acrimony and mean-spiritedness is the exception rather than the rule truly is refreshing!
