On behalf of the future c/o 2013 and future basic cadets in less than 2 days, I wanna say thank you to everyone on this forum, cadets, grads, parents, everyone, for all you guys have done for us throughout the application and anticipation for thursday. It still feels pretty unreal that we are leaving almost everything behind tomorrow, but all of you have made the process easier. We'll see all of you on the flip side in August!
 
I second what btown said. It's been a wild ride already, and we haven't even gotten to the good part.

Thank you to the cadets for the help with the application and the inside knowledge on what it's really like
Parents and family, thanks for the support and advice. We'll be thinking of you during BCT.
To everyone else, thanks, and we will be back.

See you all in August!

Agreed! Everyone on here has been really helpful! I feel more prepared than i did when i accepted appt! Everyone here has helped answer my every question and reassure my on my doubts! Thanks so much to everyone! you have all been very awesome!

The greatest thanks this forum could get is for all the parents and cadets to come back and assist others next year who will be starting this process.

There is no better teacher than one who has been there and done that. You may not think that you have anything to add, but you will be suprised that the same questions you had during your application process will pop up again during the next application cycle, and you now have the answer to help someone else out.

So we wish all the parents and cadets the best, and look forward to your continued participation here! :biggrin:

Ditto to everything that has been said. This site has been so helpful, and I certainly do plan to return in the fall and help the next applicants as much as I can.

Good luck to all of you. I look forward to seeing you in our Wing. This will be the last class at the Academy I get to see (as a cadet). Bring it strong for you and for us!
