Recently got rejected from USAFA for CO 2019. Plan B is in place ,thankfully. I've read that some apply for three academies rather than just their first choice. Is it worthwhile to apply to three or focus on one? I'm planning on reapplying to USAFA, USMA, and USNA for CO 2020. Are there any major differences in the application process between the three? Thanks.

If I applied to all three (and USCGA) and the applications are all really similar. By applying to all three, I felt I gave my self the best possible chance to become a military officer. The portals are different and uploading information to each institution varies. USMA requires a recommendation from a Chem/Physics teacher. The only thing that I found difficult was applying for three nominations. The portals open at different times: I completed the USNA application last June before USAFA or USMA had completely opened.
