Time after NROTC grad/commission

What is the time frame after NROTC graduation/commission and nuclear power school? If in the last couple of years this has been a year or so, DS is wondering if he will be able to get his masters while waiting?

I don't think so, unless something has changed in the last year. I've heard of delays as long as six months for officers, but even when they're told of a delay it can change with little or no notice.
