Thanks for the info Brian - we'll have our eyes open looking for it. Son had his break from his college classes this week - would have been nice to get some of the paperwork done! Guess we'll continue stalking the mailman for this and hoping for younger son's NASS acceptance!
 
Same for me as well. I also noticed it said Dodmerb is closed due to inclement weather - not sure if that has anything to do with it (doesn't make any sense, but much of this whole process doesn't!! :wink: ).
 
Same here. I checked it at 10:00 Am Eastern Time and it had what it normally has. 4 line with application status: in process Medically: Qualified etc. I just checked it and the application status line had dissappeared both for the Academy and AFROTC. Maybe the Air Force Academy gave them the names of most of the people who got in and they took that line away in order to update the site without shutting it down completely for several hours.
 
My DoDMERB was like that and I just received a call from my Congressman to tell me that I received an appointment to USAFA. Could be good news! I am from district 2 in Minnesota.
 
My status line is gone too, though I haven't been notified of an appointment...yet??! My Naval Academy status line is gone as well.

Yeah, I applied to all the military Academies (except merchant marines), and the status on DoDMERB for each of them is gone. I don't think it means anything...

Congrats ILHunter! Remember you from SS talk last year, but thought you were more interested in the ROTC route recently since I hadn't seen you on these boards much! Are you planning on USAFA now?

All you folks with recent appointments, if you're considering going to Orientation, come find the Orientation dinner threads for the Sunday night before the session you're planning on and come meet up with some great SAF folks!

My daughter recieved her phone call on March 18th. Her status has not changed yet. If it wasn't for her telephone call she would still be waiting to hear.
 
I had been considering both just was not sure what would ever come through! In two weeks I have received an AFROTC Scholarship and now the appointment. And yes, I do not see how I can turn down USAFA! Loved summer seminar so much!
 
Skimming the list I find it interesting no one from NY is on the list yet. I realize this isn't a completely representative sample of the entire accepted population, however makes me scratch my head a little . . .
