Hello, all,

I hope you are well. I was granted a medical waiver waiver to USMMA two weeks ago, but haven’t had any correspondence regarding appointment status... since it’s so late in the game, is it fair to assume I wasn’t appointed?

Same boat - waiver a few weeks back without further action. View the waiver as a positive step forward.

@tlfrancis289 I would agree with kpmom2013 to hang in there.. the fact that you were granted a waiver is a good thing and there's still plenty of time left.. If you think this is late in the game, think again.. My oldest son got his appointment on the 5th of June.. Remember the immortal words of the great Yogi Barra.. 'it ain't over 'til it's over'..

Hey,
If you're on the wait list like I am, you can ask your admissions officer where on the list you are percentage wise and they should answer you. Mine told me I was pretty far down and that an appointment that far down on the list is close to impossible, so I'm continuing to my back up career plan. Pretty disappointing since I'm a re-applicant with significant application improvements, but it is what it is. Best of luck to you.

I feel my son is in the same boat. So frustrating/ discouraging when USMMA was his first choice. Good luck to all.

DS called the admissions office last week and when he tried to probe where he was on the list the officer didn't volunteer any info. Think he'd fare better if he contacted his specific AO? We are in TX and did hear a large number had applied. Not sure how many of those are still in the funnel.
