TOP GUN 30th Anniversary

I'm no economist, but what I do know is that under President Reagan there was no shortage of flight hours, steaming days or ordnance to drop. I left my fleet tour with a ton of traps and over 1500 flight hours in type model series. On one of my deployments on the Constellation, we had "run the deck" days where we just launched into the pattern and bagged traps. I got over 10 in one day.

I too had the pleasure of serving under the Reagan administration. It was awesome - particularly so after the Carter administration.

volunteer Submarines?" Those "Wing nuts" get all the glory!
