I am a 2015 appointee. My dad has already planned for us to arrive a few days earlier than R-Day and for both of us to go on a tour of west point on 06/24. But just now I saw a thread below saying that the RDay rehearsal is on the same day. I also remember reading that 2015 candidates are not supposed to be at the rehearsal. Will there likely be any problem with this situation?

The tours are by bus, with a few stops to get out and see sights up close (cadet chapel, trophy point, cemetary). I would not think that being on the bus would constitute participation in the rehearsal- you might not even see much of it, as the cadet area is kind of tucked away behind the barracks and mess hall.

Incidentally, I did the 1 hour tour a couple of weeks ago and even though I had already seen most of the campus, the guide was great and it was very worthwhile- great plan to do it together!
