Of the many lessons one might draw from this I think the biggest might be to not involve yourself too strongly in your own legal defense. I can't believe his counsel asked him for all of his contributions to this trial. For example this came from the AP wire story: “You are on the verge of spending some time in the lockup. Now sit down,” the judge told [Trump attorney] Habba, who immediately complied. Never something you want to hear from the bench.
