A lot of the cadets will be running in the Tunnel to Towers Run on Sunday. My son loved the experience last year, and is looking forward to Sunday. The link below will get you to a page with more info regarding the story behind the run.

I'll be in NYC participating as will much of our company. Its going to be a special run and I know that we also will not only be honoring the first responders who served our country on 9/11 but the Wounded Warriors of our wars the past decade

i had the chance to do this last fall when i was there on exchange from the Air Force Academy. it was an amazing experience; got to see/talk to/take pictures with rudy guiliani, and the run with so many of my brothers from USMA was awesome. I't d be really neat to go this year with the memorial being open down there now....

It's going to be so much fun, I'm really looking forward to it! We won't be able to actually go to the memorial, but running by it will still be awesome.

Haha, we thought we weren't going to be able to go to the memorial, but we did! I really enjoyed the Tunnels to Towers run, and when we finished the run we found out from the First Captain that we were going to get to see the memorial. It really awestruck me while I was at the memorial. First off, I've never been in NYC, secondly the memorial was just amazing. Also watching all of the wounded warriors and the fire fighters in full gear do the run was inspiring.

Great experience...did it last year and planning on doing it again next year. The memorial was much larger than I thought and great. Even though I still think they should have just rebuilt the twin towers...
