A U.S. naval flight officer with an extensive signals intelligence background was accused by the service of passing secrets to China, USNI News has learned.

    Speechless.

Accused =/= convicted. The court-martial should be interesting, though we'll never know the whole tale.

Freda'sMom and all, I believe that this dove tales with past history. Hopefully this isn't too boring and informative .

For those who are unfamiliar with "The John Walker Spy Ring" here's a look. This Recent Intelligence Breach may be worse than the "Walker Spy Ring" causing major changes to the way of doing operations/ lives at risk.

The EP-3E Aries II is an intelligence gatherer and the Chinese were very glad to get their hands on one. They did (what they stole -who knows) but it happened in 2001 at a place named the "Hainan Island". LT Osborn has a book out about the "The Hainan Incident" and a recommended read. Although, much has changed since then-the Aries platform was compromised in 2001 (See below), we now have LCDR Lin's problem to deal with now.
