DS submitted his complete NROTC application a couple of weeks ago and is Board Ready. He just got his Sept ACT scores back and wanted to know if he could update his application with the higher Math score he just received. Can that be done?

Just have the scores sent to whatever the code is for NROTC.

EDIT: You might want to double check this but I found this in a PDF available in the NROTC application instructions...
SAT/ACT Scores. Test scores must be sent to school code 0656.

Thank you! He did send the scores from ACT to NROTC (he thinks that is the code), but his recruiter told him the app is closed to updates since it’s board ready. Just wanted to make sure this was true. He got math from a 30 to 35. It’s a bump up he was hoping would count.

Yeah, can't answer that part. If he happens to be applying Marine option they do allow updates between the boards, even when board ready for the first board. Not sure about Navy but I'd send them anyway. Can't hurt except for the cost.

Ok they’re sent. It’s out of our hands at this point. What can you do. Oh well. He tried. Thanks!

That is a nice bump in the Math score. Hope it works out and gets updated, especially since Navy is so focused on STEM fields.
