DS has now completed all parts of his application. However, his DoDMERB shows a "Complete Hold" status, which was explained as meaning that Concorde is working with the examiners to obtain additional information. I don't know if this is a minor, temporary "hiccup" or if this means we may be looking at some type of remediation. We can't do anything but wait to see what happens. DS breezed through the physical with no issues, except for a VERY minor issue with the auditory test. He failed to acknowledge one very low tone, but the examiner acted like it was no big deal and promptly told him he still "passed" the test, according to their scales. My guess is that this is the one thing needing clarification, and I hope the examiners do an adequate job of explaining their findings. Other than the typical childhood illnesses (colds, flu, etc), eustachian tubes as a baby, a tonsillectomy, and a very minor concussion in football 2 yrs ago, he is healthy as a horse. I really don't see this being an eliminating factor. Worst case scenario, I could see remediation, but I'm hoping even that isn't necessary. Nevertheless, since my husband is about to worry himself into a dither over it, please pray for a quick and easy resolution.
