USAFA Class of 2021 Appointments

Yeah I emailed my counselor and she said there are still some appointments left but I want to know around when would it be.

DS is still waiting for some news too. Not sure if all the slates have been chosen and their at the NWL now. Some news or updates would be nice.

I am not sure because I was a Principal Nominee for my district and my counselor told me that they have reviewed my file but that no decision has been made as of yet. So that could mean that all slates have not been decided. Just trying to stay positive and hold tight at this point.
 
Has anyone heard back/received appointments from Senator Booker office ? (NJ)
 
We are here, we are waiting...but still in the fight. If we don't make the majority of appointments in March, wait for the NWL, Prep School, late appointment, or the TWE to appointment offer. All of which could possibly drag from April through May. In the meantime work on solidifying your Plan B and/or C.
 
If someone from my district gets a Falcon Foundation scholarship, does that essentially use up the appointment from said district? Or can more be appointed out of the district?

I called his office multiple times (3 times in February, once March 4th). During the February calls I got answers like "You'll hear soon." "Letters of notifications of both nominees and those who did not receive a nomination will be out by the end of February." "They're being sent out this week." Then in March, I got the answer of "They're coming shortly. That's all I can say." I still have not heard.
I've looked at the appointments from USAFA, USMA, and USNA to see if anyone got a nomination from Booker on this forum. No one for USAFA or USNA had a senatorial nomination. Only one person from USMA, and I think they were Menedez.
 
There hasn't been an appointment offered (reported) from Kentucky's 5th district yet. Waiting and praying
 
I don't think there has been any from the state of Delaware either.
 
Random question... but has anyone received the TWE or rejection from USAFA yet? I haven't seen many posts indicating this.

I know yesterday there was a tsunami wave of TWE to USNA. (Son survived that and is still CPR). Not that I would like to see any candidate get the TWE (especially DS) it would start eliminating a lot uncertainty and kids/families would know where they stand in this process.

*Now that I posted this I have probably cursed our family my DS will probably get a TWE tomorrow morning. Ha,ha.

Let's hope not. Hopefully he's still in the game. My DS got that yesterday, but it was expected. He didn't receive a nomination to the USNA so we were awaiting the TWE. Still sucks though :)

We are perplexed why our DS didn't get TWE for USNA yesterday. He does NOT have a nomination. He knows kids with nominations and that have same ballpark scores /grades/resume as him that received TWE yesterday. He even texted his BGO to ask where his TWE was!

My DS is in the same boat. Still CPR since late August with no nom. DS expects TWE coming though.

It is possible he could be offered a spot for NAPS, which does not require a nom. Cross your fingers.
