Thanks and GOOD LUCK.
Not that I know of. Do we know when the Review Boards meet? I know the USCGA meets on Thursday and we usually hear of appointments Thursday and Friday. Just wondering if the USAFA has a similar process. Hoping my DS hears soonAny appointments today?

Same here. My DD is waiting to hear from USCGA (dad class of 83), USNA and USAFA. The wait is harder on me. Can't come soon enough. Not that I know of. Do we know when the Review Boards meet? Sounds so familiar. My DS has applications at the exact same SA's as your DD. Yes, the wait is pretty tough.Same here. My DD is waiting to hear from USCGA (dad class of 83), USNA and USAFA. The wait is harder on me. Can't come soon enough.
ParkMom/DS2/No LOA/Appt. Feb 8, 2017/WV-01/Senators Manchin and Capito
DS2 received a phone call from both of our Senators on Wednesday afternoon with the amazing news. DS1 is a 2016 (Klepto!) grad and we are excited about the opportunity for our youngest to continue the Long Blue Line!
Our DS has received appointments from USCGA and USMA but no word yet from USAFA (he received two nominations). DS is fully qualified and extra qualified on the academic side. Is there a date by which we could safely assume an appointment from USAFA will not be coming...? Thanks in advance.Congratulations!!
It seems like no appointments this week? I am getting more worried as time keeps going.
Congrats.... my DS was nominated by Sen. Nelson as well and Congressman Grayson.... we are still waiting... curious if you received Sen. Rubio nom? DS received a letter saying that since Sen. Nelson already nominated him, Sen. Rubio would not. I guess that's normal?? Congrats again... you should be very proud!!!On your appointment letter, what is the date?
Like many others, I am still anxiously waiting for any news, but perhaps the lack of appointments this week indicates admissions is getting ready for a larger divulgment of appointments than the slow trickle that has been taking place. I mean we are QUICKLY approaching March and this is the first week of 2017 that no appointments have been reported on the forum. Of course, this doesn't mean none were offered, rather just not reported. This is merely just an observation that could very well be wrong. Best of luck to everyone still waiting!
My husband was called two weeks before report day for the USCGA '83 so it does happen. He accepted and retired 30 years later. Happy ending. Hoping my DD does not have to wait that long but she would gratefully accept if so.I certainly understand the anticipation and excitement as you wait to hear. With that in mind, I offer two comments that I hope will offer a little understanding and peace of mind.
1. Recalling the Class of 2020 appointment thread it appeared that there was only about 10%-20% of the total class that particpated in this forum based on that list. (The last 2020 listing had 139 appointements noted in June of 2016; there were 1142 Basics that started I-Day) I would guess that a much higher percentage of people don't know about or participate in this forum. So using the appointment list on here probably isn't a good indicator of the total number of appointments, where the overall process stands, etc.
2. FWIW, my DS didn't receive his notification until the beginning of April. There's still a lot of time to go before appointments "dry up", if you will. I've even heard stories of appointments being offered just days before I-Day, so there is always hope! Or maybe in other words it is difficult to predict what will happen. Hang in there!
