USAFA Waiting Page C/O 2028

Do you guys feel like study abroad programs would be a good addition to my application if I end up going to civ college and reapplying next year if I don’t get in? Does that count for anything? In addition, do honors college classes look better/hold higher weight in the re-application process?
 
Anyone have an idea of when squadron assignments will go out this year? I know in the past it’s gone out June 10th but does it vary by year?
 
Nothing has changed for DS in his portal - but he does not have any of the LOI/E letters and he wouldn't see a change.

DS was able to see his ALO yesterday. DS provided him a status report (accepted USMA but waiting on USAFA). ALO told him to check his portal and that April is still a heavy month for appointments.

Just holding on for another day. ;)

They have to wait until appointments are accepted and appointee kits are completed. Last year it was delayed because several appointees were dragging their feet on their appointee kits so it does vary year to year.

I’m in the same boat as your son. I wish there was a way us 100% Completers could tell if there’s an incoming update to our application. Hopefully we all hear something soon!
