USAFAPS Appointment for 2013-2014

So do you think the ones they chose at their meeting yesterday would have already been notified in their portals today?
 
Currently waiting to hear back from the prep school like so many others... but just wondering, does anyone know what the average SAT scores & GPA are for the prep school? I know they vary from those of USAFA but i'm not sure just how much.

I doubt it. My guess is they send out notifications a few days after their meetings.

I don't know averages, but my GPA was ~3.6 and ACT composite was 27.

I've talked to a few people around here and they have between 3.4 and 3.8 GPAs roughly. As for ACT scores, I've heard anywhere from 24 to 30. Most have right at 26 and 27 though.

I was asking the same question but honestly found out it depends on alot more then sat/act scores like are you a recruited athlete, are you currently enlisted and how much volunteer work you have done etc. If you don't get in don't be discouraged 1 year in the scheme of things is not the end of the world, look to ROTC programs and even re-applying next year that will give you plenty of time to boost up your scores and application and maybe get a direct entry!

That's funny because before I became Enlisted I lived in a small town an hour away from ATL. May be a different town though

I live not too far from Athens, where UGA is. If you tell me that you live in that direction, my mind will be blown.

Im not in your direction I lived in Douglasville and Villa Rica and went to both Villa Rica High School and Alexander High School
