Objee mentioned yesterday that everything was finalized on Friday, reviewed with the superintendent yesterday, and all information will be sent to applicants BY tomorrow night! If you don't hear anything by Thursday, you are to check with your AO! This batch includes denials, wait list, appointments, and USCGAS spots!

CGA tries to notify CGAS and direct appointments by phone rather than email, so don't expect your portal to be the first place you will get notice, but it could be.

Thanks Cave, right back at ya. The good news is, all these kids who want to serve their great Nation are already so awesome and awe-inspiring. Just to have kids who, by age 17, have already decided that being a part of something greater than themselves is of vast importance, means we've already won, all of us. These kids, whether they go here or to their plan B's, are the cream of the crop. I consider myself blessed and lucky to have parented such an amazing child. Best to you all.

Well said! My son would love to be part of the USCGA and will reapply next year if this is not the year for him. He as well got accepted at The Citadel and has done an overnight. He loved it and is excited it that is the path he takes. He can do Navy/Coast Guard ROTC program there. Good luck to everyone. I have a feeling I am not going to sleep well tonight.

Tough night with little sleep. Went into my DD room at 6:00 AM bc her light was on. She said she didnt sleep much... nodded off at 2, and has been up since 5. Laptop open to Bear's Den acct... nothing yet! Brought her some tea... just waiting! All in good time...
